Brad Pitt is set to reprise his role as Cliff Booth, the enigmatic stuntman from Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 hit Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, in a fresh spin-off under the direction of David Fincher. Titled The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, the film will delve into the life of Booth as he maneuvers through the evolving landscape of the movie industry. Fans can catch it in IMAX theaters globally for two weeks starting November 25, with its streaming debut on Netflix slated for December 23.
Though Quentin Tarantino has penned the screenplay for this continuation of Booth’s saga, he will not be at the helm as director. Tarantino, who has a storied career with classics like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, previously expressed a desire for his final directorial work to be an original piece rather than a sequel. Nevertheless, his enthusiasm for Booth’s character remains evident in this new narrative set in 1977, eight years after the original film’s setting.
